For every person who lives on this planet, there is one thing that is the most significant. It has money in pocket and people who have it prosper by the day and those who don’t are considered failures.
Where does one get this money from? Does it grow on trees? Or is it dug out from the ground? I’m sure most of you know the answer very well. Whatever income we get, we have to earn it, from our businesses or services. All of the people in the world go to work every week to maintain a steady flow of income.
Unfortunately, some of us cannot get a source of income even if they are willing to work. These people are regarded as unemployed by society. It deems them unfit and shuns them from their inner circle. Do these people have any hope? How are they going to better their circumstances when nobody helps them?
It is the story of this lot of society that are considered outcasts. These people do not have a full-time job. They may be working but only part-time or as freelancers, so their income is also minuscule, hardly enough to appease all their needs and none of their desires.
NEEDS OF THE UNEMPLOYED
Every human born in this world is born with some requirements. These needs can only be satisfied with money because every commodity on this earth, be it a glass of water or a pair of shoes, can only be bought with cash. Someone who does not have money cannot even try to appease his needs.
Still, the jobless do feel hunger when they haven’t eaten food. They do feel cold when the heat in their homes is not working. They get depressed when things are not working out for them, but they can’t seek professional help because they cannot afford it. Their financial situation will not allow it.
DREAMS OF THE UNEMPLOYED
The unemployed section of the society thinks and feels just like the rest of us. They also dream of a brighter and more flourishing future; for their presence cannot be how they live throughout a lifetime.
When these people pass across a fancy bakery, they could want to have a piece of the most decadent croissant. When they see an aeroplane flying high in the sky, they may also wish to be in one and travel the world to see all its glory. When their children would grow up, they would want them to go to the best university to get their professional degrees. They would wish to all of this, and then some, but alas, their bank balance will not allow them.
HURDLES FOR THE UNEMPLOYED
You must have heard the saying money begets money. It means if you have cash, your chances of growing the same are quite high. Now, what if you don’t have it or what if you have it, but it is not enough for you? What do you do then?
Do you ask for it from people, your close friends and family? I’ll tell you a secret about people; they are very fickle. If they think that you won’t be able to return their money at the soonest, they would never give it to you. Then it won’t matter to them whether you are their best friend or their closest family.
If not your loved ones, then who will grant you enough funds so that you can improve your circumstances. Which institution do you know that will let you borrow money? A bank certainly? Nope, not if you don’t have a full-time job. For a bank, an unemployed person has a bad debt written on his head, that too in bold red alphabets. A bank will only agree to make a financial transaction if it is sure that the returns will only be profitable. Otherwise, it will show you the red flag. What is the next option for them?
RESCUER OF THE UNEMPLOYED
Man is a social animal. He cannot survive in isolation. All of us need a company, especially in difficult times. Today, these times only come along when a person is struck down financially; like the unemployed people. How can they go out of these times of difficulty? Does anybody happen to their aid?
- THE GOVERNMENT
Who do you think benefits the most if every person in the country is working full-time to his maximum efficiency and bringing higher productivity wherever he goes? It has to be a considerable establishment. And what is a more significant organisation than the government? So, the state provides enough finances to its unemployed citizens in the form of benefits. It even does this for all the senior citizens in the UK.
However, unemployment benefits are only given for about six months. I think half a year gives us plenty of time to turn the tables on our misfortunes and start the sail on the voyage of prosperity. A nation with a minimal unemployment rate is a nation that experiences the most growth, and that is the returns the government will reap from these benefits.
- DIRECT LENDERS
Apart from the government, many direct lenders want to take the risk of investing money on the unemployed. A lender who provides doorstep loans 4 unemployed will become the liberator of these people. I know I have used a far too heavy adjective for them, but desperate times demand desperate terms. And who needs a financial saviour more desperately than the unemployed. These loans will always be short term, and the good thing about them is that you can avail them at your homes.
In the end, I would again emphasise on the fact that money is crucial for our existence. Our financial health not only decides what kind of lifestyle we enjoy, but it is also the attributing factor of the level of respect we garner in society. So, the people who are not able to earn a comfortable income in the present, please seek help to enjoy a future that you were truly meant for.
